Key dates
The story began in France in 1945 with Louis Royer. Today, the senior management includes members of the third generation and the Group is active worldwide, extending its brand portfolio.

Louis Royer founds a shoe trading company in Fougères, Brittany.

1975
Jacques and Alain Royer join the family company.

1989
The first office is set up in Asia.

1991
The company distributes its first American brand.

1992
Creation of Joyling (Hong-Kong)

1994
Signature of the Skechers distribution contract.

1997
Sales of 60 M€.

2001
Contract with the Converse brand.

2004
The company moves into Spain. / Sales of 128 M€.

2006
Acquisition of CPS (specialised in private label).

2007
Acquisition of the Stephane Kélian and Kickers brands / The company moves into Germany.

2008
Acquisition of the Charles Jourdan brand.

2009
Acquisition of the Mod’8, Aster and Von Dutch brands.

2010
Contract with the New Balance brand in France, Germany and Benelux.

2011
Takeover of the Luxat and Pare Gabia brands.

2015
The Umbro brands join the Group / The group is 70 years old.

2016
Signature of the Caterpillar licence contracts.

2017
Signature of the Everlast Europe licence contract. / Acquisition of the HUNGARIA brand.

Signature of Diadora contract.
