Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty is one of the numerous characters created by the Japanese company Sanrio. Hello Kitty products generally use bright pink colours and are recognizable by its logo that represents a white small kitty with a ribbon over its head. Hello Kitty was created by the stylist Ikuko Shimizu in 1974.
Hello Kitty became very popular in the late 90’s when several important people like Mariah Carey adopted the brand as a fashion article.
Many other famous people promoted the brand : Cameron Diaz, Heidi Klum, Carmen Electra, Mandy Moore and Nicky Hilton were all seen with Hello Kitty products.
The singer Lisa Loeb also announced she was a fan and even dedicated a full album « Hello Lisa » to Hello Kitty.
