Look on the bright side of life
In 1916, the US Rubber Company launches Keds. The brand's advertising agency made up the term "sneakers" because rubber soles made the shoes quiet.
As a favorite shoes brand of many American football players and tennis champions, Keds has become a true sports brand. The legacy of the sport world and its testimonies over the years have turned Keds into much more than just a functional shoe but a necessary fashion accessory.
Always present beside icons of their time: Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Onassis and Paul Newman. Each has inspired a new style and left its mark on fashion of the 50’s and 60's. Even today, Keds is true to its unique style, classic but innovative.
